His heart leaps from his spleen to his lung in that single instant, his breath coming out punched, tight. Time had stopped, only to resume as he takes a deep breath, knowing this was it. Whatever move he took now could change their relationship forever. Joseph was trying to tell him something important. Message received, hopefully. His stomach lurches at the thought, the weight of their little world up till now, as he turns his head slightly and purrs:]

[He adds as he plants another kiss on Joseph's opposite cheek, his lips lingering entirely too long.
