Bucky is genuinely taken aback by Rahzel. Being the Winter Soldier, he was never to question his own opinion of himself. He was always the simplest thing, the thing he was training to be: cold, murderous, a trainer to others like him, someone to be ordered. He wasn't someone, he was something, and it's a hard way of thinking to break.

Taking and making pain has been part of his life for far too long now.

"I'm used to it. And..."

He sighs, drags a hand through his hair again.

"Maybe I deserve it."
